ChargePoint runs one of the largest public charging networks, and that operational experience shows in the Home Flex. The app is the best in the business: it syncs your utility's off-peak rates and schedules charging automatically, tracks costs per session, and rarely suffers the connectivity dropouts that plague cheaper smart chargers.
The adjustable amperage is the quiet killer feature. Set it to 16A on an existing circuit today; dial it to 50A after a panel upgrade later — same hardware. The 23-foot cable reaches across a two-car garage, and the outdoor-rated enclosure handles an open driveway.
It charges J1772 natively, so Tesla owners will live on the included adapter — fine in practice, slightly less elegant than the Tesla Universal below. For everyone else, this is the default choice.
