Affiliate Disclosure
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
The short version
Best Electric Products is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
We also participate in affiliate programs run directly by some manufacturers. Where we have been accepted into one, the "Check Price" button for that brand may send you to the manufacturer's own store instead of Amazon. The button always names the retailer it will take you to.
What this means for you
When you click a "Check Price" link on this site and buy something, we may receive a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or not — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
What it does not mean
Commissions do not influence which products we recommend or how we rank them. Our picks regularly include lower-priced products that earn smaller commissions. Manufacturers do not pay for placement, cannot preview our content, and are not notified before publication. Every affiliate link on this site is marked with rel="sponsored" so search engines can identify it, and every page containing affiliate links carries a disclosure above the first link.
To be explicit about one thing: commission rates differ between retailers, and once we have chosen a product we will link to the store that pays us the most for it. That choice affects where you are sent to buy something we already recommended. It plays no part in deciding what gets recommended, which awards are given, or how products are ranked — those are settled before any link is built, and the ranking code has no access to commission data.
Pricing accuracy
Prices shown on this site are approximate street prices at the time of writing and are clearly labeled as such. Product prices and availability change frequently; the price shown by the retailer at the time of purchase is the price that applies.
