The C1000 Gen 2 wins this category by being excellent at everything and terrible at nothing. A kilowatt-hour of LiFePO4 capacity covers a weekend of camping or a day of essential-appliance backup, the 1,800W inverter runs coffee makers and power tools without complaint, and the charge speed is class-leading: under an hour from empty.
That charge speed changes how you use it. There's no 'I forgot to charge it' problem — plug it in while you pack the car and it's full before you leave. Six AC outlets and 140W USB-C also mean you stop rationing ports.
Anker's app is polished, the 5-year warranty is competitive, and street pricing regularly dips well below list. Unless you need multi-day capacity (see the Jackery below) or want to spend under $300 (see the C300), this is the one to get.
